There are two sections of beach in SummerCamp, one on the west side within walking distance from the house and on the east side there is a secluded beach called Turkey Point. SummerCamp Beach is removed but still close enough to any excursions you might choose to take. Fish from the beach or your boat. There is a deepwater boat launch at Lanark Village less than 5 minutes from the house and a marina in the small, quaint town of Carrabelle. Dog Island is a must-see by boat or go on a day trip to St. George Island, home to one the top 10 beaches in America. Explore the small fishing village of Apalachicola where there are some wonderful restaurants and shops to walk around in. When the day is done, you have a beautiful, peaceful, warm place to enjoy.
